Kanvas has explored Kolhapuris in various ways. It was the first footwear we created under our label. Initially, our chappals were made in pure leather with a twist of hand painting. These chappals from the state of Maharashtra in India are one of the most famous Indian footwear. Handmade with sun-tanned leather or vegetable dyes this footwear has its own uniqueness, which’s not only famous in the rural areas of Maharashtra but is also getting increasingly known across the globe.
